Office, Bookkeeper

We are seeking a temporary bookkeeper who has as well experience in small business office admin and will be responsible for the following:

Initially we need somebody fulltime until end of February 2017 to help migrate data into our new QuickBooks system, then ongoing bookkeeping duties will be part time.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Financial/Bookkeeping Duties (75%):

Generate Purchase Orders, Quotes& Invoices
Manage Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Weekly bookkeeping business Transactions and Reports
Comply with Federal and Provincial reporting requirements – GST Filing, T Slips for Subcontractors etc.
Organize and file receipts as they’re received and ensure transactions are allocated correctly.

Office Duties (25% Time):

Draft and Format documents requiring strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word).
Maintain an orderly filing system (hard copy and electronic)
Answer general phone inquiries using a professional and courteous manner
Reply to general information requests with the accurate information
Sort incoming mail, faxes, courier deliveries
Prepare and send outgoing faxes, email, mail and courier parcels

Required Skills & Experience:
Highly Proficient in Word and Excel
Full WORKING KNOWLEDGE of QuickBooks, Generating Reports etc..
Research skills on the internet – Proficient user of Google
Minimum of a College or University Education
Previous SRED exposure an asset
Payroll Experience an asset
Quick learner of new Office/Project/Task Management software
Limited Training is available

Office, Administration and Marketing

Office and Sales Assistant
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, proactive and dynamic individual for a 6 month term with the possibility of turning into full time employment) to assist with our PR efforts, sales and communication strategy. Responsibilities also include customer relations and office administration. The successful candidate must be dependable, organized, optimistic and have a love for making things and telling stories using various media.

Your Responsibilities:
– assist with the development and distribution of sales and marketing materials that communicate our companies values and story
– use online tools and social media outlets to research, monitor and leverage PR activity about the interest in additive manufacturing, related industry companies, professionals and individuals, various materials and software packages
– customer relations including responding to product inquiries, online store inquiries and providing customers with basic product training
– arranging showroom displays, tracking sales orders and stock inventory
– assist with shipping/receiving and office administration as required

Your Qualifications:

– computer skills are mandatory including Microsoft Office application, proficient in document authoring
– must have reasonable understanding of product design and sales process
– while not required, graphic design skills would be an asset
– detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
– ability to work independently and as part of a team
– professional image and exceptional customer service skills
